- The Pro-Graad TwistFlex 1/2" Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool is manufactured oversized - ORDER BY THE BORE SIZE. Brush will be approximately ten percent oversized, but will easily conform and fit into the bore size diameter due to the flexibility of the honing tool stems.
- Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool brushes have round abrasive spheres fastened to ends of flexible stems, which produces pressure and finishing evenly and consistently. For Engine Cylinders, Brake Cylinders, Hydraulics and Valve Guides.
- The Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool can be run with hand tools, drill press, or CNC equipment. Apply a lubricant liberally such as a honing tool lubricant, 10-30 weight motor oil, or transmission fluid prior to using honing tool brush. Max RPM is 900, however optimum range is 600 - 800 RPM. Tip: If producing cross-hatching pattern, less is best - maximum of two passes should be done with brush within 20-45 seconds of total run time, averaging between 10-55 strokes.
- The 0.5 inch TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool is self-centering, self-aligning and will conform to the bore diameter to provide consistent surface finishing, as well as deburring any cross-drilled holes. The brush is self-compensating to produce a consistent finish throughout the life of the tool.
