You will need a masking tape for this, it doesn't hurt to have a good friend or family member help you to make the correct markings. Divide the cowl into two equal parts with painter's tape, then create visual areas with painter's tape where the holes will be, conditional squares. Then on these squares it is necessary to outline the gills in the place where the gills will be installed. Painting tape will help to make the holes even and without chips, you can apply several layers of tape. But the most important thing is the marking, for best results divide the hood into equal areas - under pressure, painter's tape will keep an even line and repeat the lines of the car body - so a helper will not be superfluous. After creating the correct holes, you can install the gills in the seats, it is recommended to paint the gills beforehand, so it will be more aesthetically pleasing. We also recommend using black car sealant as a glue, it perfectly rubs the edges and merges with the body and securely hold the gills in place.
