Boost your Duramax Diesel's protection and fluid flow with the simple-to-install, billet aluminum PPE Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve. The stock part has limited internal passages. If the OEM valve fails shut, transmission fluid can't reach your cooler, due to mechanical issues or debris. This can lead to dangerous transmission overheating. Without adequate cooling, towing and harsh driving conditions can shorten transmission component life. The PPE Bypass Valve removes the mechanical valve, maximizing fluid flow from the transmission cooler. Additionally, a Neodymium magnet-equipped service plug traps ferrous debris and can be accessed for removal, a feature absent in the factory part.
