- We make this premium powder by removing the moisture from real cheese and using natural colorings made from paprika and annatto seeds. We use three pounds of cheese to produce two pounds of powder, so every batch is packed with quality ingredients that guarantee rich, savory flavor. Sprinkle it on everything and anything to make it taste cheesier!
- How to Use: Try it sprinkled over popcorn, pretzels, or vegetables like broccoli and baked potatoes. Blend into sauces, casseroles, and homemade mac and cheese. To season chips, crackers, or other snacks, add 2-4 tablespoons of cheese powder to a zip-top bag. Add your snacks, seal the bag, and then shake to coat.
- Make a Basic Cheese Sauce: To mix a cheddar cheese sauce, melt 1/4 cup of butter or margarine over medium heat in a small saucepan. Once melted, add 1/4 cup of milk and whisk in 2 tablespoons of Premium Cheddar Powder to the pan. Heat until sauce reaches 180F, then cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened . Serve with french fries, soft pretzels, or tortilla chips. Or, pour the sauce over cooked pasta for an easy stovetop macaroni and cheese.
