This is ideal when the rod is to be stowed away in a backpack or travel bag to save space. Models from 3.30 meters (10.83 feet) in length and up have slightly longer transport dimensions, and have actions that show the characteristics of stake rods. The lightweight and well balanced carbon fiber blanks provide an excellent bending curve during the fight and have good throwing properties.
