Alphacool Icicle Relief Valve A pressure relief valve for even more safety in the system. In normal systems, a normal expansion tank is usually sufficient to compensate for the pressures that occur. The products that are installed in a system are pressure tested of at least 2 bar. But for users who have really many components integrated into their circuit, the extreme temperature difference between idle mode and operation can lead to very high pressures, where it is more advisable for some components to release this pressure with a pressure relief valve! This pressure relief valve can be easily screwed into a T-piece and thus mounted in any point of the circuit. Some expansion tanks offer several openings where sealing caps are used as standard, as the valve can be used here. The 1/4 inch thread connection is also very short, only 4 mm, and allows many other mounting points in its water cooling. The low complete height of the valve, without thread of 16 mm, also speaks for a wide range of applications. The seal attached to the bottom provides additional security to keep your system tight. The valve allows overpressure of 0.3-0.4 kg/cm² to 4.3-5.7 psi escape.
