- Easy to Install with Detailed Installation Instructions. ezgo txt drum is for the brake drum only. When replacing this brake drum, check the hub assembly as well. This brake hub/drum replaces the earlier hub & drum and has the star spline instead of the straight key
- There is a 3/4-Inch center hole with a 24-tooth star spline, the hub is held in place by a castellated nut (5/8-Inch x 18tpi), and a thick (118-inch) flat washer
- The EZGO brake drum is held in place by a castellated nut and a thick flat washer. This hub/drum will NOT operate with a keyed axle/hub interface
- Before replacing the brake drum, be sure to check if the half-shaft splines are also worn, if they are worn, they must be replaced together, to prolong the service life of the brake system
